l•11^� <br />May 6, 2004 <br />Mr. Joe Parco, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer <br />Public Works Agency <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, M-36 <br />Santa Ana, California 92701 <br />SUBJECT: Task Order Scope of Work <br />Industrial/Commercial Facility Inspection Program <br />First Year Permit Period from July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004 <br />Dear Mr. Parco: <br />URS Corporation (URS) is pleased to submit this Task Order Scope of Work to assist the City of <br />Santa Ana (City) in continuing to conduct the Industrial/Commercial Facility Inspection Program <br />(Inspection Program). This Scope of Work has been developed to address the Inspection Program <br />through a portion of the first year of the three-year permit cycle. <br />In compliance with the Section 9 of the 2003 Orange County Drainage Area Management Plan <br />and the City's Local Implementation Plan, the required frequency for industrial and commercial <br />facility inspections are as follows: <br />Industrial Facilities: <br />• High Priority —Inspection every year within permit cycle; <br />• Medium Priority — Inspection once every two years of permit cycle; and <br />• Low Priority — Inspection once per permit cycle. <br />Commercial Facilities: <br />a All commercial facilities - Inspection once per permit cycle. <br />Based on an update of the City's Prioritized Facility Inventory as of April 16, 2004, the City's <br />Inspection Program has the following number of facilities to be inspected through June 30, 2004: <br />• Medium- Priority Industrial Facilities: 711 facilities; and <br />Low -Priority Commercial Facilities: 249 facilities. <br />URS Corporation <br />2020 East First Street.
