Mr. Joe Parco, P.E. <br />City of Santa Ana <br />May 6, 2004 <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />This Task Order Scope of Work consists of the following three subtasks: <br />1) Task Order Management; <br />2) Conduct Facility Inspections; and <br />3) Additional Program Assistance as Requested. <br />URS will continue to utilize the services of G&G Environmental Compliance, Inc. (G&G) in <br />conducting the facility inspections. <br />Scope of Work <br />Subtask 1: Task Order Management <br />URS will participate in periodic meetings with the City to update the progress of the inspections, <br />to discuss enforcement issues, and to provide suggestions for improving the Inspection Program <br />based upon field experience and maintaining the Prioritized Facility Inventory. URS will assist in <br />the long-term management of the inspection program and updating the Prioritized Facility <br />Inventory with information from the City's most current business license database. URS will <br />provide the City with bi-weekly status reports via email and summary reports with the monthly <br />invoices. <br />Subtask 2: Conduct Facility Inspections, Inventory Management, and Enforcement Notifications <br />The URS Project Team (URS and its subcontractor, G&G) will conduct facility inspections <br />utilizing procedures previously developed. URS will initially mail an Inspection Program <br />Notification Letter to up to 50 facilities at least one week prior to inspection. As requested by the <br />City, the URS team will also investigate and respond to complaints related to the City's Water <br />Pollution Regulations. Following the inspections, URS will scan the completed facility inspection <br />reports and associated facility site maps. URS will submit completed inspection reports to the City <br />on a monthly basis in a hard -copy format and in a scanned Adobe Acrobat format. URS will also <br />update the Prioritized Facility Inventory to reflect the inspection dates and results. <br />URS will immediately provide a telephone notification to the City for any observation of a <br />discharge that is determined to pose a potential threat to human health or the environment (e.g., <br />sewage spills that could impact water recreation areas, waste spills that could impact wildlife, <br />
