5. No climbing spurs, or hooks will be used by anyone employed for such trimming. <br />No tractors or scrapers will be permitted on City streets for lading brush or logs <br />unless Inspector permits. <br />6. The Contract shall provide daily log sheets of work completed to the Public <br />Works Agency. <br />The Contractor shall be given forty five (45) working days to complete each <br />pruning list issued by the Public Works Agency. <br />8. Failure of the Contractor to complete the Work within the time allowed will result <br />in damages being sustained by the Agency. For each consecutive working day in <br />excess of the time specified for completion of the Work, the Contractor shall pay <br />to the Agency, or have withheld from monies due it, the sum of $200 per day, <br />unless otherwise provided in the Specifications. <br />Upon completion of the trimming, the Contractor shall provide the Agency with a report <br />showing the date of each tree trimmed by address. <br />Q. TREE STUMP REMOVAL <br />This project calls for the complete removal of tree and stump at locations <br />designated by the Public works Agency. The main stump to be ground down <br />eighteen (18) inches and ALL surface roots to be ground down ten (10) inches. <br />All trees and stumps will be measured at four (4) inches above soil grade. <br />2. Backfill material shall be compacted to provide for minimal settling. It shall <br />consist of an equal mixture of soil and stumped material which shall be two (2) <br />inches above grade to provide for any soil settlement. No stump holes will be <br />left overnight. <br />3. The Contractor shall provide daily log sheets of work completed to the Public <br />Works Agency. <br />4.
