RESOLUTION NO. 74-98 A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />VACATION CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> APPROVING MAP AND <br />DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A NORTH-SOUTH <br />ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN CENTRAL AVENUE AND HEMLOCK WAY, <br />recommended by the Planning Commission, was unanimously <br />adopted (6-0) on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by <br />Councilman Markel. (CA 14) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-99 A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />CREATION OF A U.S. DISTRICT CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />COURT IN SANTA ANA CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> REQUESTING THE <br />CREATION OF A UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURTROOM FACILITY <br />IN SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, was read by title only, and was <br />unanimously adopted (6-0) on motion of Councilman Yamamoto, <br />seconded by Councilman Griset. (CA 77.10a) <br /> <br />RESIGNATION The resignation from <br />PERSONNEL BOARD the Personnel Board <br />WALDO R. HAUG contained in the letter <br /> dated June 4, 1974, <br />from Waldo R. Haug, was accepted with regret on the unanimously <br />approved motion (6-0) of Councilman Griset, seconded by <br />Councilman Garthe. (CA 50.8) <br /> <br />RE-APPOINTMENT The letter dated June 3, <br />HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION 1974, from patricia M. <br />PATRICIA M. MC GUIGAN McGuigan, declining con- <br /> sideration for reappolnt~ <br />ment to the Human Relations Commission, was accepted with <br />regret on the unanimously approved C6-0) motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Garthe. (CA 131.2) <br /> <br />TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY The letter dated June 4, <br />COMMITTEE 1974, from Charles F. <br /> Kenney, Superintendent <br /> of the Santa Aha Unified <br />School District, informing of Mrs. Betty Nickel's resignation <br />from the Transportation Advisory Committee, and requesting that <br />Mr. Harlan Anderson be appointed as her replacement, w~as conr <br />sidered by Council. <br /> <br />Councilman Griset moved to accept Mrs. Nickel's resignation and <br />to appoint Mr. Anderson as her replacement. Tke ~otiQn was <br />seconded by Councilman Ward. After some deliberation, C~unc~l~ <br />man Griset withdrew the previous motion with tKe con~ent of the <br />second, and moved to continue the matter until afte~ th.e Execu~ <br />tire Session.
