OLD CITY HALL The letter dated June 28, <br />PURCHASE AGREEMENT 1974, from Cohen, Stokke, <br /> Owen & Davis, represent- <br /> ing Del Pueblo Management <br />and Development Company, requesting redraft of agreement to <br />extend time period for completion of improvements in the former <br />City Hall Building, was considered by Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Rudy Montejano, Attorney, 1212 North Broadway, and Mr. <br />Hector Godinez, addressed Council requesting an extension of <br />time to complete all improvements. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Markel, <br />and unanimously carried, Staff was instructed to amend the <br />agreement to extend the time to December 31, 1975. (A 73-10) <br /> <br />POLICE RESOURCE Letter dated July 3, <br />PROGRAM FOR SCHOOLS 1974, from the Assistant <br /> to the Superintendent, <br /> Santa Aha Unified School <br />District, requesting continuance of the Police Resource Pro- <br />gram was received and ordered filed on motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Evans, and unanimously carried. <br />(CA CA 47,' CA 65B) <br /> <br />STREET NAME CHANGE The letter dated June 25, <br />HOFFMAN STREET TO 1974, from Chalrm&n, <br />COTTONWOOD STREET planning Commission, <br /> recommending approval <br />of a proposed street name change, to rename Ho£fman Street <br />to Cottonwood Street, together with supporting letters from <br />the Buccola Company and other property owners on the street, <br />were considered by Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward~ <br />and unanimously carried, Council approved proposed street <br />name change and instructed the City Attorney to prepare the <br />appropriate resolution to effect the ckange on ~anuary. 1, 197S. <br />(CA 29.2) <br /> <br />LITTLE LEAGUE DONATION Councilma~ ~ard deposited <br />PARK SNACK STANDS a ckeck ~ltk tko Treasure~ <br /> in the amount of $508,G0 <br /> from tko Nortkwest Little <br />League for preparation of plans for permanent snack stands in <br />City parks. On motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Council: <br />man Yamamoto, and unanimously carried, Council autkorlzed the <br />Mayor to acknowledge the gift with appreciation, and Councilman <br />Ward to meet with donors. (CA 52) <br /> <br />DEDICATION & IMPROVEMENT The City Attorney <br />JUNIPER AVENUE reviewed the provisions~ <br />AMF VOIT of a proposed agreement <br /> between the City and <br />AMF Voit Company regarding the dedication and impro¥cment of <br />Juniper Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Jackson, Attorney at Law, 595 East Colorado Blvd., <br />Pasadena 91101, representing AMF Voit, stated that kis client <br />had approved the proposed agreement. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Ma. Mot Patterson. ~ and <br />unanimously carried, Council continued conszderat~on of th_e <br />agreement until the August 5 meeting, for further report by <br />the City Attorney.
