ROUTE 57 (ORANGE) FREEWAY The memorandum dated <br />ROUTE STUDY July 9, 1974, from the <br /> Director of Public Works <br /> transmitting the recom- <br />mendation of the Transportation Advisory Committee that Council <br />reinforce its interest in Route 57 and in getting a route <br />study underway as soon as possible, was considered by Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Evans, <br />and unanimously carried, Council approved the recommendation <br />of the Transportation Advisory Committee and instructed Staff <br />to develop an action plan with the Transportation Ad¥isory <br />Committee. (CA 29.10) <br /> <br />CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE The memorandum dated <br />POLICY July 11, 1974, from <br /> the Clerk of the Council, <br /> and Councilman W~ard's <br />Memo to Council proposing a policy for Council Conference <br />Attendance, were discussed by Council. Council adopted the <br />following policy regarding conference attendance en motion of <br />Councilman Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman ~ard, and unani- <br />mously carried: <br /> <br /> In the interest of the City of Santa Ana~ we <br /> recognize the importance of attendance and <br /> encourage Councilmen and the Mayor to participate <br /> in the following: <br /> Mayor (or designee~ to represent tke.
