(CA 80) <br /> <br />SCAG MEETING Councilman Ward <br />COUNCILMAN WARD reported that Council <br /> should become fami- <br /> liar with the En- <br />vironmental Protection Agency Parking Management require- <br />ments and their ramifications to the community. He stated <br />that Council has been negligent in preparing the citizens <br />for what may prove to be a traumatic period commencing <br />January 1, 1975, as a result of these requirements. <br /> <br />Mayor Patterson stated that the City's Washington repre- <br />sentative, Bill Morgan, will brief Council on this sub- <br />ject during the dinner recess. (CA 141, 145.8) <br /> <br />SECOND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNMENT Councilman Garthe <br />COUNCILMAN GARTHE reported on the 2d <br /> Annual Open Golf <br /> Tournament at River- <br />view Golf Course. He stated that the tournament lasted <br />two days, and there were 180 participants. He suggested <br />that the City support the event in a more positive and <br />tangible manner. (CA 151) <br /> <br />MEXICAN-AMERICAN CEREMONY Mayor Patterson com- <br />MAYOR PATTERSON plimented the Assist- <br /> ance League of Mexi- <br /> can-Americans' parade <br />and ceremony. He stated that approximately 3,000 people <br />participated and that he had enjoyed representing the <br />City at the honorable Mexican Independence Day celebration. <br /> <br />(CA 45.1) <br /> <br />SANITATION DISTRICT <br />COUNCILMAN GARTHE <br /> <br />District Headquarters, <br /> <br />Wednesday, <br /> <br /> Councilman Garthe <br /> reminded all Council- <br /> men of the invitation <br />to the Sanitation <br />September 25, at 4 P.
