COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT Kathe Shapiro, repre- <br />LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS sentative of the League <br /> of Women Voters was <br /> introduced by the Mayor. <br />She stated that the Santa Ana-Tustin-Orange Area League of <br />Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization of over 100 men <br />and women who believe in representing the government and <br />the individual liberties established in the Constitution. <br />The League encourages the informed participation of all <br />citizens in government. She stated examples of the type <br />of work the League does. Mayor Patterson presented her with <br />a plaque on behalf of the City Council to the Santa Ana- <br />Tustin-Orange Area League in recognition of outstanding <br />community service.
