REQUEST FOR ZONING Councilman Griset's <br />COOPERATION BETWEEN CITY motion to accept the <br />& CITY OF COSTA MESA report and direct the <br /> Staff to submit the <br />report to the City Council of Costa Mesa for consideration <br />prior to action, was seconded by Councilman Ward, and unani- <br />mously carried. (CA 10) <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Councilman Ward stated <br />ILLEGAL ALIENS that there has been a <br /> lot of publicity recently <br /> on the Federal level, <br />regarding illegal aliens; that Attorney General Saxbe has <br />stated the practice should be stopped. <br /> <br />Councilman Ward's motion to authorize the Mayor to write a <br />letter to the Attorney General and to President Ford expressing <br />our position of deep concern over illegal alien entries <br />into the Country and their ramification, was seconded <br />by Councilman Griset and unanimously carried (6-0). (CA 57.1) <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Councilman Yamamoto <br />CITY BUDGET requested that the <br /> Clerk forward a copy <br /> of the City Budget to <br />Mike Leyba of the Paramedic Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Councilman Markel <br />COUNCILMAN RESIDENCY questioned the residency <br /> of Councilman Griset in <br /> Ward 4, which he rep- <br />resents. Councilman Griset assured Councilman Markel that <br />he does reside in Ward 4 which he represents even though he <br />owns two houses in Santa Ana. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Councilman Griset, <br /> <br /> Council adjourned at <br /> 10:07 P.M., on the <br /> unanimously approved <br /> approved motion of <br />seconded by Councilman Yamamoto. <br /> <br /> ENCE I.
