RESOLUTION 74-188 <br />SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA <br />WATER COMPANY <br /> <br />seconded by Councilman Evans: <br /> <br />The following Resolu- <br />tion was unanimously <br />adopted on motion of <br />Councilman Yamamoto, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 74-188 - A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE TO ACT AS AN AGENT <br />FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA IN THE ACQUISITION <br />OF PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WATER <br />COMPANY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA. (CA 12) <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />4:10 P.M., with the <br />Griset. <br /> <br /> At 3:45 P.M. Council <br /> declared a recess for <br /> an Executive Session <br />and reconvened at <br />same Councilmen present except Councilman <br /> <br />VARIANCE 72-62 Council denied the <br />MOBILE HOME OCCUPANCY written request dated <br />SAMC SEC. 10-89 December 11, 1974, filed <br /> by Hall & Foreman, Inc., <br />to make a finding that a mobilehome residence and office is <br />within the intent of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, Section 10-89, <br />as it pertains to a bonded storage yard for mobile homes, and <br />such residence relates to the 24-hour security of the operation, <br />on motion of Councilman Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman Ward, <br />and carried on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Yamamoto, Ward, Garthe, Markel <br /> <br />NOES: Evans, Patterson <br /> <br />ABSENT: Griset <br /> <br />Prior to the Council s action, the following persons spoke in <br />support of the request: <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Hall, 2630 North Grand Avenue, representing <br />the property owner, Mr. John Fowler; <br /> <br />Mr. John Fowler, P. O. Box 789, Rancho Santa Fe. <br /> <br />(CA 16) <br /> <br />Councilman Griset returned to the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE The Chamber of Commerce <br />CRIME RATE Resolution dated Novem- <br /> ber 22, 1974, supporting <br /> the efforts of City <br />officials to combat the City's rising crime rate was received <br />and filed, on the unanimously approved motion of Councilman <br />Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto.
