RESOLUTION 75-45 Pursuant to letters <br />MASSAGE TECHNICIAN PERMITS dated March 21, 1975 <br />DYSARD; BUZZARD; FARRBLL from Robert J. Davis, <br /> Attorney at Law, <br />requesting hearings of suspension of Massage Technician Per- <br />mits, Council adopted the following resolution on motion of <br />Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, and <br />carried (5-1) with Councilman Ortiz dissenting: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 75-45 - A KESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPOINTING <br />A HEARING OFFICER IN THE REVOCATION HEARING <br />REGARDING THE MASSAGE TECHNICIAN PERMITS OF <br />MS. ANNE DYSARD, MS. LEONA A. BUZZARD AND MS. <br />RITA FARP~ELL. (The hearing was scheduled for <br />May 27, 1975.) <br /> <br />CA 91.5 <br /> <br />Councilman Bricken returned to the dais. <br /> <br />PROPOSED CITY ORDINANCE On the motion of <br />TAXICAB DRIVERS Councilman Yamamoto, <br /> seconded by Council- <br /> man Evans, the <br />Council by unanimous vote (7-0) received and filed a let- <br />ter from ltv Freed, 501 South Grand Avenue, suggesting <br />that the City adopt an ordinance to prohibit taxicab drivers <br />from chauffeuring drunks from bar to bar. Mr. Freed <br />appeared before the Council and acknowledged that the <br />proposed ordinance would be difficult to enforce. CA 26 <br /> <br />SCAG - REQUEST FOR Councilman Evans' <br />COMMITTEE MEMBERS motion, seconded <br /> by Councilman Ward, <br /> torefer SCAG's <br />request for committee members to an Executive Session <br />for consideration of appointments, was unanimously (7-0) <br />carried. CA 141 <br /> <br />CITY OF COSTA MESA <br />RESOLUTION - EARNINGS <br />LIMITATION - SOCIAL SECURITY <br /> <br />of Councilman Evans, seconded by <br />write a letter of support of the <br />limitation under Social Security. <br /> <br />The City Council <br />approved (6-1), with <br />Councilman Ward dis- <br />senting, the motion <br />Councilman Brandt to <br />repeal of the earnings <br /> CA 57.1 <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY HEALTH Councilman Evans <br />PLANNING COUNCIL moved and Council- <br /> manOrtiz seconded <br /> ~ to refer the <br />letter from the Orange County Health Planning Council <br />recommending its designation as the area Health Systems <br />Agency, to staff for investigation and report; the motion <br />carried [7-0). <br /> <br />CA 112.7 <br /> <br />TWO-HOUR PARKING The written request, <br />ON VAN NESS STRDBT dated March 25, 1975, <br /> for two-hour parking <br /> on North Van Ness <br />between Third and Fourth Streets, received from the Santa <br />Aha Athletic Club, et al, was referred to staff for investi- <br />gation and report, on the unanimously approved (7-0) motion <br />of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto.
