RESOLUTION 75-56 The following <br />APPLICATION FOR Resolution was <br />PLANNING ASSISTANCE GRANT adopted (S-i), <br /> on motion of Coun- <br />cilman Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman Ward, with <br />Councilman Evans dissenting: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 75-56 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE <br />FILING OF AN APPLICATION BY THE CITY MANAGER <br />AND ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER FOR A COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLANNING ASSISTANCE GRANT AND STATING THAT THE <br />CITY WILL PROVIDE THE REQUIRED LOCAL SHARE. <br /> <br />CA 140.25 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 75-40 The following <br />COMMENDING COMPUTER Resolution was <br />ELECTION SYSTEMS adopted (4-2), <br /> : on motion of <br />Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Ward, with <br />Councilmen Brandt and Ortiz dissenting: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 75-40 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />-COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />COMMENDING COMPUTER ELECTION SYSTEMS FOR <br />SERVICES TO THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF APRIL 1, <br />1975. <br /> <br />Councilmen Brandt and Ortiz stated that they were <br />opposed only because they did not support the "Votomatic" <br />method of voting. <br /> <br />CA 68 <br /> <br />REQUEST TO FILE The request of <br />LATE CLAIM Dewey L. Blackwell II <br /> for leave to file a <br /> : late claim of $60.71 <br />for damages was de~ied on the motion of Councilman Evans, <br />seconded by Councilman Ward and carried (6-0). CA 65.7 <br /> <br />RESIGNATION OF The letter of <br />PARK SUPERINTENDENT resignation submitted <br /> by Bomo Koral, <br /> Park Superintendent, <br />was received and filed on the motion of Councilman Ward, <br />seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, and carried (6-0). Council- <br />man Evans expressed Council's appreciation for his many <br />years of service, and requested the Mayor to initiate neces- <br />sary action for an appropriate expression of the City's <br />appreciation to Mr. Koral. CA 73B <br /> <br />HUMAN RELATIONS It was moved by <br />COMMISSION Councilman Evans, <br />REQUEST RE POLICE MATTER seconded by Council- <br /> man Brandt, that <br />the City take no action to prepare a report in response <br />to the written request dated April 17, 1975, from the <br />Chairman of the Human Relations Commission because the <br />Grand Jury is already conducting an investigation of the <br />incident, and Santa Ana Police personnel acti,on is not <br />being questioned; the motion carried [6-0). <br /> <br />Councilman Bricken arrived at 3:20.
