REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION The letter of <br />RESIGNATION OF TOM MC MICHAEL resignation from <br />APPOINTMENT OF JOHN COIL Tom McMichael <br /> resigning from <br />the Community Redevelopment Commission was received and <br />filed on the motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by <br />Councilman Brandt and carried (7-0). <br /> <br />On the motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman <br />Yamamoto, Mr. John Coil was appointed to replace Mr. <br />McMichael and complete his term of office which expires <br />June 50, 1978; the motion carried [7-0). <br /> <br />CA 82.1 <br /> <br />CITY YOUTH COMMISSION Discussion of the <br /> City Marrager's <br /> report dated <br /> April 28, 1975, <br />regarding a proposed Youth Commission, was continued to <br />June 16, 197S, and the City Manager was instructed to <br />solicit the reaction of the City's various Boards and <br />Commissions, through their chairmen, to the possible <br />appointment to their Commission of an ~x-~fficio youth <br />member, on the unanimously carried (7-0) motion of Coun- <br />cilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Brandt. <br /> <br />CA 131.12 <br /> <br />P~QUEST FOR 2-HOUR The Director of <br />PARKING ON VAN NESS Public Works was <br />(REFERRAL ITEM #190) instructed to <br /> post the east side <br />of Van Ness between Third and Fourth Streets for a two-hour <br />parking time limit as an interim measure pending completion <br />of the Civic Center Plan updating; Item #190 was deleted <br />from the Council Referral Summary, on the motion of Coun- <br />cilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Ortiz, and carried <br />(6-12 with Councilman Yamamoto dissenting. CA 18 <br /> <br />BOARDS ~ COMMISSIONS The attendance <br />ATTENDANCE REPORTS reports of the <br /> City's Boards and <br /> Commissions were <br />received and filed on the unanimously carried [7-0) <br />motion of Councilman Evans and seconded by Councilman <br />Ward. Councilman Bricken req~sted that staff develop a <br />standard reporting form and Councilman Evans suggested <br />that seats be declared vacated in a timely manner when <br />excessive unexcused absences occur, so that the City's <br />Boards and Commissions will be fully staffed at all times. <br /> CA 80.9 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO The reports of <br />REDEVELOPMENT PLAN the Planning <br /> Commission and <br /> the Redevelopment <br />Commission on the proposed amendment to the Redevelopment <br />Plan to the City's Redevelopment Project Area, dated <br />April 9 and April 11, 1975, respectively, together with <br />the Planning Commission Resolution No. 606?, and Resolu- <br />tion No. ?5-3 of the Community Redevelopment Commission, <br />both approving and recommending adoption of the proposed <br />amendment, were received and filed on the unanimously <br />carried [?-0) motion of.
