The motion was made by Councilman Evans, seconded <br />by Councilman Bricken and carried unanimously (7-0). <br /> <br />CA 145.4 <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER <br />REQUEST FOR WAIVER FROM PRO- <br />VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NS-1143 <br /> <br />(3:30 p.m.) <br /> <br />Consideration of <br />Item 46 on the Agenda <br />was deferred to the <br />time scheduled <br /> <br />CA 29.4 <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF OFF- The waiver of off- <br />STREET PARKING PROVISIONS street parking re- <br /> quired in the C3 <br /> district, requested <br />by Brown's Jewelry & Loan, 215 East Fourth Street, summarized <br />in the Planning Director's report dated May 16, 1975, <br />was granted, and staff was directed to negotiate with appli- <br />cant some in lieu parking provisions, on the motion of Councilman <br />Ward, seconded by Councilman Evans, and unanimously carried <br />(7-0). The waiver was approved by the Redevelopment Agency <br />June 3, and by the Santa Aha Planning Commission On June <br />10, 1975. -' <br /> <br />Councilman Ward moved to communicate to the Redevelopment <br />Commission that parking is a major concern of the City Council, <br />and to request that the Commission give serious consider- <br />ation to the subject and to "in lieu" parking within the <br />downtown area during the Commission's proposed parking study. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Evans and carried <br />unanimously. CA18 <br /> <br />REASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY FOR Contribution of <br />INCREASED PROPERTY TAX REVENUES a pro-rated amount <br /> of the $50,000 cost <br /> of a proposed State <br />Board of Equalization audit of past and present assessment <br />roils relative to property tax payments in Orange County, <br />requested by the Chairman of the Orange County Board of <br />Supervisors in his letter of June 5, 1975, was unanimously <br />(7-0) approved in concept, as long as the guaranteed return <br />to the City exceeds the City's participation cost; and the <br />Mayor was directed to write a letter to the Board of Super- <br />visors advising it of Council's action, on the motion of <br />Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto. <br /> <br />CA 65.1 <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN The progress report, <br />PROGRESS REPORT dated June 9, 1975, <br /> of the Community <br /> Development Plan, <br />from the Assistant to City Manager, was received and filed <br />on the motion of Councilman Bricken, seconded by Councilman <br />Evans and unanimously (7-0) carried. <br /> <br />CA 140.20 <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR SERVICES, MRs.
