MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />August 18, 1975 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to order <br />at 2:10 P.M. by Mayor John Garthe, in-the Council Chambers, <br />22 Civic Center Plaza, with the following Council members <br />present: Gordon Bricken, Harry K. Yamamoto, Vernon S. Evans, <br />James E. Ward, and Mayor John Garthe. Councilmen David F. <br />Ortiz and David L. Brandt were absent. Also present were <br />City Manager-Bruce C. Spragg, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, <br />Assistant Director of Public Works John Stevens, Director of <br />Planning Charles C. Zimmerman, Police Chief Raymond C. Davis, <br />and Clerk of the Council. Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Bricken. <br /> <br />-Following the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the <br />Flag, the Invocation <br />was given by Councilman <br /> <br />RECESS <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />Council reconvened at <br />present. <br /> <br /> At 2:12 P.M. Council <br /> recessed to convene <br /> the Regular Meeting of <br /> the Housing Authority; <br />2:35 P.M. with the same Councilmen <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following Agenda <br /> items were removed from <br /> the Consent Calendar: <br /> Items 4 C and ? C, <br />requested by Councilman Bricken; Items ? A and B, requested by <br />Councilman Yamamoto; Items ? D and 12 B, requested by Mayor <br />Garthe. The following Councilmen registered NO votes: Council- <br />man Evans on ?
