<br />,- , <br /> <br />8 <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />i8 <br />l. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />,8 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />8 <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Griset reminded the Authority that there is still no <br />word on the additional application and what the total number of units <br />would be; and that the total budget was still unknown. <br /> <br />Commissioner Herrin stated that he was concerned with the assurance <br />the Authority would have that the program would be reimbursed for <br />all expenditures. <br /> <br />Commissioner Evans stated that he would not support the appointing <br />of any outside person with City funds; that this was one of his original <br />fears; and that such hiring could lead to other things which would take <br />money off the top such as the Authority voting itself a salary. <br /> <br />Commissioner Villa reminded the Authority that Section 23 Leased <br />Housing had proven very vital to persons displaced from their homes <br />due to condemnation and other reasons; and that there were safeguards <br />such as a restriction of administrative expenditures to 10 percent of <br />the funding; and that once the Authority had complied with the regula- <br />tions, monies would be reimbursed on a regular basis. <br /> <br />A DJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned <br />at 4:25 P.M., on the unani- <br />mously approved motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Herrin. <br /> <br /> <br />~~-~ <br /> <br />Florence 1.
