On the motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Evans, <br />and carried (7:0) unanimously, the request was referred to <br />Staff for investigation and report. CA 14 <br /> CA 151.5 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Councilman Brandt <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL REQUEST reported the receipt <br />DEFERRED of a petition with <br /> several hundred <br />signatures requesting the installation of a traf~fic signal <br />at the corner of McFadden and Center Streets. On the <br />motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Brandt, <br />and carried (7:0) unanimously, the petition was received <br />and action deferred until the 1976-77 Budget hearings. A <br />prior motion by Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman <br />Evans, to reconsider Item 61 (Appropriation Adjustment #110, <br />Project 8106 Inspection), was withdrawn. <br /> <br />Willie Hardeman of 1944 West Mark, spoke to Council on behalf <br />of his neighbors who wish to have a traffic signal installed <br />at McFadden and Center.
