<br />MINUTES <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />January 19, 1976 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />construction of the Santa Ana Towers Project for <br />Senior Citizens, the chart indicated the target date <br />for occupancy as June 1, 1977. <br /> <br />On motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Bricken <br />and carried (7-0) unanimously, the following were received and <br />filed: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The December, 1975 Monthly Report for the Section 8 <br />Program (Existing Units) indicating that as of January <br />1, 1976, of the 150 eligibility certificates authorized <br />by HUD, 117 certificates have been issued, 112 for the <br />Very-Low Income and 5 for Lower Income, and that a total <br />of 46 units are under lease; and the December 1975 Trial <br />Balance Report for the Section 8 - Housing Assistance <br />Payments Program (HAP), indicating a balance of $80,070.71. <br /> <br />Oh motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner Bricken <br />and carried (6-1) with Commissioner Evans dissenting the following <br />were received and filed: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The December, 1975 Monthly Report for Section 23 Leased <br />Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 87 of the 100 <br />authorized units were under lease as of January 1, 1976 <br />and that 84 are occupied by tenants. <br /> <br />December, 1975, Trial Balance Report and Budget Estimate <br />Worksheet for Section 23 Leased Housing Program indicating <br />a balance $580,040.66. <br /> <br />On motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Ward <br />and carried (7-0) unanimously, the following were received and <br />filed: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The December, 1975 Monthly Report for Revised Section 23 - <br />Housing Assistance Payment Program (HAP), indicating that <br />45 of 50 units authorized by HUD were under lease and <br />occupied by tenants as of January 1, 1976; that 250 units <br />of the 300 previously allocated under Revised Section 23 <br />Program are in the process of conversion by HUD to Section <br />8; and that as of January 1, 1976, 100 certificates have <br />been issued and 45 tenants occupy a home or an apartment. <br /> <br />December 1975, Trial Balance Report and Budget Estimate <br />Worksheet for Revised Section 23 - Housing Assistance <br />Payments Program (HAP), indicating a balance of $117,779.00. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The full reading of <br />the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of <br />December 15, 1975, was waived and they were approved as mailed, <br />on the unanimously carried (7-0) motion of Commissioner Bricken, <br />seconded by Commissioner Ward. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />to the Housing Authority, with the proviso <br /> <br />On motion of Com- <br />missioner Bricken, <br />seconded by Commissioner <br />Evans, the Authority <br />supported the concept <br />of an Advisory Commission <br />that staff investigate <br /> <br />SENATE BILL 1127 <br />TENANT REPRESENTATION FOR <br />HOUSING AUTHORITIES IN THE <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />
