CA l12A <br /> <br />PARK RESTROOMS IMPROVEMENT The interim report <br />REFERRAL #216 - INTERIM REPORT dated March 16, 1976, <br />FILED prepared by Deputy <br /> City Manager Manuel <br />Rede, detailing certain corrective measures that have been <br />undertaken to improve park restrooms, was received and filed <br />on the motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman <br />Bricken, and carried (6:0) unanimously. : CA 52 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION OF PARADES The questions of <br />REFERRAL ITEM #229 City support for <br />CONTINUED parades, reviews <br /> and other public <br />events, and revision of the administration of parades in <br />the City, were continued to Tuesday, April 2?, 1976 at <br />S:00 P.M., on the motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by <br />Councilman Bricken, and carried (~:0) unanimously. <br /> <br />Billy C. Hall, City Center Association, stated that for two <br />or three years the City of Santa Ana has had no Christmas <br />decorations; that the merchants had not received sufficient <br />support to finance them; that the lack of decorations is a <br />reflection on the City as a whole; that he would like to <br />know if Council would consider joining with the merchants <br />to fund Christmas decorations. <br /> <br />Councilman Ward stated that he has always been in favor of <br />the Christmas parade, and that if decorations could be con- <br />sidered a part of that, he would consider such a proposal. <br /> <br />Councilman Bricken asked how many merchants would support the <br />idea; Mr. Hall responded with 70%.
