The Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag was led by Girl Scout Troop #1944, Ms. Pat Clark, <br />Leader; the Invocation was given by Counsellor John Larson, <br />Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. CA 9.10 <br /> CA 80.17 <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION PRESENTATION Councilman Bricken <br />"BARBERSHOP HARMONY MONTH" presented a Proclama- <br /> tion for "Barbershop <br /> Harmony Month" to <br />C. E. (Charlie) Brown, Santa Ana Chapter of the S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. <br />(Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber <br />Shop Quartet Singing in America); Mr. Brown described the <br />history and activities of~the Santa Ana Chapter, following <br />which the group entertained Council and the audience with <br />renditions of several traditional S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. songs. <br /> CA 46 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING Mayor Garthe opened <br />INDUSTRIAL USE DISTRICTS. the Public Hearing <br />ORD. NS-1501 ADOPTED of the Municipal Code <br /> Amendment pertaining <br />to yard, landscaping and offstreet parking requirements in <br />the Industrial Use Districts. <br /> <br />Director of Planning Charles Zimmerman summarized the informa- <br />tion contained in his report dated March 17, 1976; Assistant <br />Clerk of the Council Patricia Rice reported that there .were <br />no written communications;_there were no proponents nor oppon- <br />ents; and the Mayor closed the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />The following ordinance was placed on second reading and <br />adopted unanimously (7:0), on motion of Councilman Evans, <br />seconded by Councilman Yamamoto: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1301 - AN ORDINANCE OE THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTIONS 41-475~ 41-476, <br />41-477, 41-478, 41-492 AND 41-493 OF THE SANTA <br />ANA MUNICIPAL CODE, PERTAINING TO YARD, LAND- <br />SCAPING AND OFF-STREET PARKIN6 REQUIREMENTS IN <br />THE INDUSTRIAL USE DISTRICTS. <br /> <br />CA 78 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />STREET NAME CHANGE <br />DIANNE TO PARKCENTER <br />RES. 76-59 ADOPTED <br /> <br />Street between Fruit <br />Parkcenter Drive. <br /> <br /> The Mayor opened the <br /> Public Hearing to <br /> consider the proposed <br /> street name change of <br />a~portion of Dianne <br />Street and Fourth Street to be renamed <br /> <br />The Director, of Planning stated that notices of the proposed <br />change had been mailed to all residents of the portion of <br />Dianne Street, and to residents of the adjacent area; that <br />there had been no objections; that the Planning:Commission <br />and Staff were~in favor of the change. <br /> <br />The letter dated December 17, 1975, from John W.
