Ortiz, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded to <br />the roll call: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />John Garthe <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />David L. Brandt <br />James E. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representatives of the Press <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The full reading <br />of the Minutes <br />0 f the Regular <br />Meeting of May 24,1977, were approved as mailed on the motion <br />of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Garthe and <br />unanimously carried (5-0). <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />SECTION 23 LEASED HOUSING PROGRAM <br />FINAL CLOSE-OUT REPORT <br /> <br />On motion of Com- <br />missioner Evans, <br />seconded by Com- <br />missioner Ward and carried unanimously (5-0), the following <br />documents were received and filed: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Final Close-Out Report for the Section 23 <br />Leased Housing Program, indicating that the 30 <br />authorized units will be converted to the Section <br />8 Program tentatively by June 30, 1977. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />May 31, 1977, Trial Balance for the Section 23 <br />Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance <br />of $566.531.71. <br /> <br />SECTION 8 RENTAL <br />ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br />On motion of Com- <br />missioner Evans, <br />seconded by Com- <br />missioner Garthe <br />documents were received <br /> <br />and carried unanimously (5-0) the following <br />and filed: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 8 Rental <br />Assistance Payments Program, indicating that <br />291 of the 450 units authorized by HUD were <br />under lease as of June 1,1977. <br />
