After the pledge <br />to the flag and invocation, roll was called: <br /> <br />PRESENT <br /> <br />R. W. Luxembourger, Chairman <br /> <br />Commissioners: <br /> <br />Al Serrato, Vice Chairman <br />J. Ogden Markel <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br />Gordon Bricken <br />Daniel Griset <br />James E. Ward <br /> <br />The following Staff were present: <br /> <br />Peter A. Grams, Housing Programs Administrator <br />Keith Gow, City Attorney - <br />Richard Goblirsch, Executive Director <br />Manuel Rede, Deputy City Manager <br />Helen Cantu, Acting Recording Secretary <br />Dan Stone, Assistant City Manager <br />Carl J. Thornton, City Manager (Interim) <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />The Minutes of the April 7, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting were approved <br />7:00 on the MOTION of <br />Commissioner Ward, seconded by <br /> <br />Commissioner Bricken. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br /> <br />Bricken, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto, <br />Griset <br />None <br /> <br />The Monthly Section 8 Report was <br />received and filed on a MOTION <br />by Commissioner Serrato, seconded <br />by Commissioner Bricken. <br />In response to inquiries made by Commissioner Serrato, Mr. Grams <br />explained to the Commission that the Housing Authority is 95% leased up <br />in three of the five projects. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORT: SECTION 8 <br />HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS <br />PROGRAM - RECEIVE AND FILE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br /> <br />Bricken, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato, Ward, Yar"arnoto, <br />Griset <br />None <br /> <br />Audit 1978-79 - Commissioner Markel suggested HUD Management Audit be <br />done at least every 3 years.
