1976 at the Holiday Inn in Fullerton, was instructed to vote <br />on the resolutions presented in accordance with the action <br />taken by Council earlier in this meeting. CA 148.1 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Councilman Bricken <br />ENFORCEMENT OF ZONING stated that after <br />REFERRED noticing several <br /> cars parked on lawns <br />on Flower Street, and requesting citations be issued, he <br />was informed by the Police Department that they did not <br />enforce zoning ordinances; and he suggested that Staff <br />investigate and report to Council procedures for enforcement <br />of zoning violations. Councilman Bricken made his suggestion <br />in the form of a motion; it was seconded by Mayor Garthe, <br />and carried (4:0) unanimously. CA 10.2 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Referring to a Report <br />ORANGE COUNTY REPORT on the Economic Develop- <br />CITIZENS COMMISSION ment in Orange County <br /> by the Orange County <br />Citizens Direction Finding Committee, Councilman Bricken <br />directed attention to the Summary on Page 8, and encouraged <br />endorsement of the policy objective "that the major thrust <br />of public development activity be directed-toward encouraging <br />a more intensive concentration of economic development in the <br />northern portion of the County, with special-emphasis on <br />those communities which are now tax-disadvantaged and which <br />have necessary public facilities and services already in <br />place." Mrs. Dempsay will <br />serve on the Board of Recrea¢ion and Parks.for a term ending <br />June 50, 1980, and Mrm. Stanley will serve on the Transporta- <br />tion Advisory Committee for a term ending December 51, 1979. <br />The new appointees were personally congratulated by each <br />Councilman present and welcomed to City service.
