A prior motion by Councilman Yamamoto, seconded <br />by Councilman Bricken, to ~pprove the program and authorize <br />implementation, was withdrawn by maker and second. Giordano, relat- <br />ing his Findings of Fact and Proposed Decision regarding the <br />Appeal of Joe H. Perez for a pool hall permit at 315 East <br />Fourth Street, the Police Chief was directed to issue a Pool <br />Hall Permit to Joe H. Perez, subject to such conditions as <br />may be set by the Planning Department, and as set forth in <br />Chapter 29 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, on the unanimously <br />approved (4:0) motion of Councilman Ortiz, seconded by Council- <br />man Bricken. CA 91.1 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION - MAYOR PRO TEM Due to the absence from <br />AUGUST 5 9, 1976 the City of the Mayor <br />HARRY K. YAMAMOTO DESIGNATED and Vice Mayor during <br /> the period August S to <br />August 9, 1976, Councilman Harry Yamamoto was designated as <br />Mayor Pro Tem for that period of time, on the motion of Coun- <br />cilman Ortiz, seconded by Mayor Garthe, and carried (4:0) <br />unanimously. YAMAMOTO DESIGNATED Mayor Pro Tem to parti- <br /> cipate in a public <br />information program for the Community Oriented Team Policing <br />Public Information Program in cooperation with Foster and <br />Kleiser Company, on the unanimously approved (4:0) motion of <br />Mayor Garthe, seconded by Councilman Bricken. CA 80 <br /> CA 47 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Councilman Brandt, <br />HRC AD HOC COMMITTEE Councilman Bricken and <br />MEMBERS APPOINTED Councilman Ward were <br /> appointed to serve <br />along with Zeke Hernandez, Mildred Cobb and Roy Uno of the <br />Human Relations Commission as the Ad Hoc Committe~ to discuss <br />the questions of the size and function of the Human Relations <br />Commission, on the motion of Councilman Yamamoto, seconded <br />by Councilman Bricken, and carried (4:0) unanimously. On <br />the unanimously approved (4:0) motion of Councilman Yamamoto, <br />seconded by Mayor Garthe, Councilman Bricken was appointed <br />as Chairman, and Staff was directed to assign two Staff mem- <br />bers and one secretary to assist the Committee.
