RESOLUTION-76-104 - CUP 76-16 Mayor Pro Tem Yamamoto <br />CALVARY CHAPEL OF COSTA ~SA remained in the Chair <br />ADOPTED for consideration of <br /> the following resolution, <br />and Vice Mayor Evans abstained from voting because he had not <br />been present for the Public Hearing on August 16, 1976; the <br />resolution was adopted (4:0) unanimously on Councilman Brandt's <br />motion, seconded by Councilman Ward: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-104 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA MODIFYING THE <br />ACTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 76-16, APPROVING <br />SAID CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION, AND <br />APPROVING APPEAL NO. 367 FILED THEREON BY CALVARY <br />CHAPEL OF COSTA MESA. <br /> <br />CA 13.4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 76-105 - APPEAL 368 Consideration of the <br />VA 76-38 CLASSIC DEVELOPMENT following resolution <br />CONTINUED was continued to <br /> September 7, 1976, <br />on the unanimously approved (4:0) motion of Councilman <br />Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ward; Councilman Evans <br />abstained from voting: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-105 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING THE <br />ACTION-OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON VARIANCE <br />APPLICATION NO. ?6-38, DENYING SAID VARIANCE <br />APPLICATION, AND DENYING APPEAL NO. 368 FILED <br />THEREON BY CLASSIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. <br /> <br />CA 13.3 <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Evans resumed the Chair. <br /> <br />REFLECTOR POOLS AT Councilman Ward's <br />COUNTY COURTHOUSE motion to direct <br />STAFF DIRECTED Staff to cooperate <br /> with County Staff <br />in preparing a report and recommendation regarding the <br />condition of the reflector pools at the Orange County <br />Courthouse, was seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, and approved <br />unanimously (5:0). Council's action was taken in response <br />to a letter dated August 9, 19?6-~from Zika Djokovich, Vice <br />President of the Orange-County Civic Center Commission. <br /> <br />Prior to the motion, Director of Public Works John Stevens <br />commented that the City has receiver several letters from <br />County employees, and that County and City are in process <br />of analyzing the problems. <br /> <br />Steven Knoblock, representing the County Board of-Supervisors, <br />informed Council that the Board voted today (August 24), to <br />instruct the General Services Agency to review the problems <br />of leaks in the pools and report to the Board in thirty days. <br /> CA 77 <br /> <br />ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY Council considered the <br />ON FLOWER STREET (PROJECT 1360) report of the Director <br />STAFF AUTHORIZED of Public Works John <br /> Stevens dated August <br />18, regarding acquisition of property on Flower Street for <br />Project 1360; Staff was authorized to continue negotiations <br />for the acquisition of properties located at 919 and 921 <br />North Flower Street, on the unanimously approved (5:0) motion <br />of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto.
