Pelitiski, <br /> representing the Santa <br /> Ana Chamber of Commerce, <br /> and as a citizen of <br />of the minutes of the Council <br /> in which the Council stated <br /> <br />that public hearings would be held prior to the budgeting of <br />any General Revenue Sharing Funds. Mr. Politiski reminded <br />Council that last week it had approved the implementation plan <br />for the West Branch Library, which plan includes use of Gen- <br />eral Revenue Sharing Funds, and asked Council to take a second <br />look at the matter. Mr. Politiski was assured by the Council <br />and the Assistant City Manager that no funds would be expended <br />from General Revenue Sharing prior to a public hearing, and <br />that the City is now applying for $200,000 County Revenue Shar- <br />ing Funds as an initial step in funding the proposed West <br />Branch Library. Mr. Wolford also stated that the West Branch <br />has been in the City's capital improvement plan for the past <br />5 to 7 years, and the proposed site was purchased 6 to 7 years <br />ago.
