RELEASE OF BONDS FOR The improvements required <br />TRACT NO. 8415 by agreement with City <br />AUTHORIZED for Tract No. 8415 having <br /> been completed, and on <br />the recommendation of John J. Prendergast in his report dated <br />November 10, 1976, the performance, monument, labor and material <br />bonds for said tract were authorized released on the motion of <br />Councilman Yamamoto, seconded by Mayor Garthe and carried (4:0) <br />unanimously. Wolford, Assistant <br /> City Manager, the con- <br />sideration of an amendment to the Zoning Code to provide <br />regulation for mobile-type businesses, was referred to the <br />Planning Commission and item #41-76 was deleted from the <br />Council Refferal List, on the motion of Councilman Brandt, <br />seconded by Councilman Ortiz and carried (4:0) unanimously. <br /> <br />In accordance with the <br />recommendation of Ronald <br /> <br />CA 10 <br /> <br />REVISION TO TRANSPORTATION PLAN A revision in the trans- <br />FeR SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER portation plan, to <br />APPROVED; BIDS AUTHORIZED contract with a private <br /> firm for vehicles, drivers, <br /> maintenance and insurance <br />of vans, was approved, authorization to advertise for bids was <br />given, and Staff was directed to submit this plan for review <br />by the County of Orange, on the motion of Councilman Yamamoto, <br />seconded by Councilman Brandt and carried (4:0) unanimously. <br /> CA 131.10 <br /> <br />PURCHASE OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT After an oral presentation <br />FOR POLICE COMMAND & CONTROL by Sergeant Jim Davis of <br />CENTER - SPEC 76-037 AMENDED the Police Department in <br />AGREEMENT APPROVED: which he stated that $19,000 <br />EXPENDITURE OF $4,000 of the already approved <br />AUTHORIZED LEAA grant of $93,000, <br /> will not be forthcoming; <br /> that the equipment purchase <br />plan has been revised and that the expenditure of $4,000 from the <br />Technical Services Division capital account can be used to pur- <br />chase some of the additional equipment, on the motion of Council- <br />man Brandt, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, and carried (4:0) <br />unanimously, the City Council: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Approved an Amendment to the Agreement between <br />the City and Digital Equipment Corp. to increase <br />the contract to $88,175.23, and authorized its <br />execution by the Mayor and Clerk; and <br /> <br />Authorized the expenditure of $4,000 from the <br />Technical Services Division, Police Department, <br />capital account for the authorized emergency <br />purchase of additional computer equipment for <br />the Police Command and Control Center. <br /> <br />BID AWARD <br />PROJECT 7072 - MODIFICATION OF <br />BOWERS MUSEUM EDUCATION CENTER <br />BIDS REJECTED: READVERTISEMENT <br />AUTHORIZED <br /> <br />CA 89 <br />SPEC 75-036 <br />On the recommendation of <br />the Purchasing Agent, Bob <br />Williams, all bids for <br />Project 7072 were rejected <br />for the modification of <br />Bowers Museum Education <br />Center and authorization <br /> <br />was given to readvertise for bids, on the motion of Councilman <br />Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman Brandt and carried (4:0) <br />unanimously.
