CA l12A <br /> <br />~UBLIC HEARING - NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION & A.A. 751 <br />ORDINANCE NS-1343 1ST READING <br /> <br />Declaration and Amendment Application <br /> <br />Mayor Garthe announced <br />that this was the time <br />and place for the public <br />hearing of Negative <br />751 to reclassify property <br /> <br />on the south side of McFadden between the Santa Ana River and <br />Harbor Boulevard from O (Open Space) and A1 (General Agricul- <br />tural) Districts to R1 (Single Family Residential) District. <br /> <br />Planning Director Charles Zimmerman stated that a 45-1ot single <br />family subdivision is proposed for the property, and has been <br />filed as Tentative Tract Map 9535; that following a public <br />hearing by the Planning Commission on December 15, 1976, the <br />Commission recommended approval of the reclassification based <br />on the finding that the proposed zoning will conform to the <br />General Plan, that areas north, east and west have been developed <br />as single family residential and that the proposed zoning <br />will not be detrimental to the surrounding area and will be <br />compatible with the existing development in the area. <br /> <br />There were no proponents or opponents and Mayor Garthe closed <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />On the motion of Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ward <br />and carried 5:1, ~with Councilman Evans dissenting, the Nega- <br />tive Declaration was approved and filed and the following <br />ordinance was placed on first reading: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO.
