GREYHOUND BUS STATION SITE A letter dated Decem- <br />AGENDA ORDER ber 28, 1976 from <br /> Edward D. Talbott, <br /> 1713 Poinsettia, <br />requesting reversal of the Council decision to approve the <br />site for the Greyhound Bus Station on tT~h Street at <br />Valencia Street was moved to the first item on the evening <br />Agenda, on the unanimously approved 6:0 motion of Councilman <br />Evans, seconded by Councilman Bricken. <br /> <br />COSTS FOR SERVICES A motion to table this <br />REFERRAL ITEM 29-76 - DELETED matter, made by Council- <br />NO ACTION man Brandt and seconded <br /> by Councilman Evans, <br />failed to carry on a 3:3 vote, with Councilmen Ward, Brandt <br />and Bricken dissenting. A subsequent motion to direct Staff <br />to prepare any necessary documents to implement a policy of <br />seeking recovery of costs for extraordinary services of City <br />personnel due to negligence of a citizen, made by Councilman <br />Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ward, also failed on a 3:3 <br />vote, with Councilmen Evans and Yamamoto, and Mayor Garthe <br />dissenting. The Council Referral was deleted from the Summary <br />by unanimous informal consent. CA 65 <br /> <br />CENTENNIAL PARK The report prepared by <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT NON-PARTICIPATION the Director of Recrea- <br />FILED tion and Parks, Robert <br /> Gresham, dated Decem- <br />ber 20, 1976 advising the Council that at its Board Meeting <br />held on November 23, 1976 the Santa Ana Unified School Dis- <br />trict decided not to participate in the Centennial Park Develop- <br />ment, was received and filed on the unanimously approved 6:0 <br />motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto. <br /> CA 52 <br /> CA 38 <br /> <br />ACCIDENT REPORT SIGN Following discussion <br />REFERRAL ITEM 49-76 - DELETED of the report prepared <br />APPROVED INSTALLATION by Joe E. Foust, <br /> Traffic Engineer, <br />dated December 22, 1976, Staff was directed to install a <br />sign at Santa Aha Boulevard and Ross Street indicating the <br />previous week's history of accidents; and deleted Council <br />Referral Item 49-76 from the Summary; on the motion of <br />Councilman Brandt, secondedby Councilman Ward, and carried <br />S:l, with Councilman Yamamoto dissenting.
