MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> AND THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> AND THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE <br /> HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />March 29, 1977 <br /> <br />The joint meeting was called to order by Mayor John Garthe at <br />5:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. <br />The following Council, Agency and Authority members were present: <br />Gordon Bricken, David F. Ortiz~ Harry K. Yamamoto, David L. <br />Brandt, James E. Ward, and Mayor Garthe. Vernon S. Evans was <br />absent. The following members of Staff were present: City <br />Manager Bruce C. Spragg, City Attorney Keith L. Gow~ Assistant <br />City Manager Ronald Wolford, Director of Public Works John <br />E. Stevens, Planning Director Charles C. Zimmerman, Community <br />Redevelopment Executive Director Richard E. Goblirsch, and <br />Clerk of the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />The Invocation was given <br />by Councilman Brandt, <br />following the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY The minutes of the <br />MINUTES - APPROVED Regular Meeting of the <br /> Community Redevelopment <br /> Agency held on February 22, <br />1977, were approved on the unanimously carried 6:0 motion of <br />Mr. Brandt, seconded by Mr. Ward. <br /> <br />READING WAIVED Full reading of all <br /> ordinances and resolu- <br /> tions, the titles of <br /> which appeared on the <br />public Agenda, was waived, and consideration was given by <br />title only, on the unanimously approved 6:0 motion of Council- <br />man Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ward. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL On the motion of Council- <br />UNINSURED MOTORIST COVERAGE FOR man Ward, seconded by <br />PUBLIC OR LIVERY CONVEYANCES Councilman Brandt, and <br />EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NS-1354 - ADOPTED carried 6:0 unanimously, <br /> the following City Council <br />ordinance was adopted as an emergency ordinance: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-1354 - AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 38-13 OF THE SANTA <br />ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO EXEMPT FROM THE REQUIREMENTS <br />THEREOF PERTAINING TO UNINSURED MOTORISTS COVERAGE ANY <br />AUTOMOBILE WHILE USED AS A PUBLIC OR LIVERY CONVEYANCE. <br /> CA 26 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />103 MARCH 29, 1977 <br /> <br /> <br />
