HOUSING AUTHORITY The following Housing <br />REAL PROPERTY INTOWN APARTMENTS Authority resolution <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-10 - ADOPTED was unanimously 6:0 <br /> adopted, on the motion <br />of Commissioner Bricken, seconded by Commissioner Brandt: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-10 - A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE <br />CONTRACT FOR THE SALE OF LAND FOR PRIVATE REDEVELOP- <br />MENT BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND SANTA ANA INTOWN APARTMENTS, <br />A LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRM~N <br />TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT. CA <br /> <br />82.4 <br /> <br />Chairman Yamamoto then returned the chairmanship of the <br />meeting to Mayor Garthe for the remainder of the meeting. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY As recommended in the <br />RELOCATION OF TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT report dated March 23, <br />SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER 1977 from Richard <br />PAYMENT AUTHORIZED Goblirsch, the Executive <br /> Director of the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana was authorized <br />to make payment of $9,715 to Pacific Telephone Company for <br />undergrounding of telephone utility lines at the Senior Citi- <br />zens housing units, without prejudice of right to seek recovery <br />of all or part of the amount paid, on the unanimously carried <br />6:0 motion of Mr. Ward, seconded by Mr. Brandt. CA 82.4 <br /> CA 137.8 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL An agreement between <br />USE OF STADIUM FOR SOCCER the City and California <br />AGREEMENT - APPROVED Sunshine Soccer Club for <br /> the purpose of conducting <br />soccer games in the Municipal Statium (with the exception of <br />paragraph 14 B of the agreement) was unanimously 6:0 approved, <br />and the its execution by Mayor and Clerk was authorized, on <br />the motion of Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ortiz. <br /> <br />Paragraph 14 B of the foregoing agreement, pertaining to the <br />sale of beer during soccer games, was approved on a 5:1 vote, <br />with Councilman Yamamoto dissenting, on the motion of Council- <br />man Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ortiz. A-77-31 <br /> CA 52.8 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Councilman Ward expressed <br />BUS FARE INCREASE concern for low-income <br />LETTER FROM MAYOR AUTHORIZED families in Santa Aha if <br /> the proposed fare increase <br />from 25¢ to 40% for Orange County Transit District bus service <br />is approved by the District On the unanimously approved 6:0 <br />motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, <br />the Mayor was authorized to write a letter to the OCTD Board <br />asking that they reexamine the intent to raise bus fares with <br />respect to the financial impact it will have on low-income <br />families in Santa Ana who depend on bus transportation. <br /> CA 112.2 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION A resolution of the <br />OCFHC & OCHRC RESOLUTIONS Orange County Fair <br />COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AGREEMENT Housing Council entitled <br /> "Resolution of the Board <br />of Directors of the Orange County Fair Housing Council Endorsing <br />the Housing and Community Development Block Grant Program <br />between the City of Santa Ana and the Civic Center Barrio" was <br />read by Bill McCue, Executive Director of OCFH. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 107 MARCH 29, 1977 <br /> <br /> <br />
