<br />the amount of $70,616, and authorized the payment of $5,080 to
<br />West Con Construction Company, Inc., as a cancellation payment,
<br />on the unanimously carried S:0 motion of Councilman Ward,

<br />Prior to the continuance, Mr. Mike Andrade, 1042 N. Logan, stated
<br />that the Logan Community was not opposed to the City's purchase
<br />of the property, but is opposed to the extension of Civic Center
<br />Drive through the Logan area.

<br />Mr. Joe Robles, 708 W. Second Street, stated that the people
<br />from the Civic Center Barrio support the City's purchase of the
