Authorized CETA funding of the position until Septem- ber 30, 1978 or until Federal funding is terminated; Authorized conversion of the position to a full-time permanent City position when Federal funding is no longer available; and 4. CA 131.11 CA 131 CITY SPACE NEEDS - SPEC 77-069 On a 4:3 vote, the motion REFERRAL ITEM 9-77 - ADVERTISEMENT of Councilman Ward, FOR BIDS AUTHORIZED seconded by Councilman Ortiz, dissented to by Councilmen Garthe and Bricken and Mayor Evans, to authorize advertisement for bids for 4,000 square feet of office space for the Manpower and Housing Divisions of the Community Rela- tions Department (SPEC 77-069), and to delete Council Referral Item No. 9-77 from the Summary, carried. The Staff report prepared by Dennis Yata dated September 21, 1977 stated that because of the 33.4% increase in Police Depart- ment personnel during the past three years, additional space is needed; the space made available by moving the Community Rela- tions Divisions will be utilized for expansion of Police Depart- ment offices. CA 77 CA 89 PROJECT 8118 - A.A. #25 Appropriation Adjustment HANDICAPPED ACCESS RAMPS #25 transferring $2,500 APPROVED from the City Council Revenue Sharing Unapplied Appropriations to Project 8118 for minor construction changes required during the course of the work on the handicapped access ramps was approved on the motion of Councilman Garthe, seconded by Councilman Brandt, and carried unanimously 7:0.
