RESOLUTION NO. 77-113 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />CETA PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ADOPTED SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLU- <br /> TION NO. 74-162 TO REVISE <br />THE TRANSITIONAL CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN ESTABLISHED FOR <br />THE EMPLOYMENT OF UNEMPLOYED SANTA ANA RESIDENTS UNDER THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT OF 1973 (CETA) was <br />adopted on the unanimously carried ?:0 motion of Councilman <br />Ward, seconded by Councilman Brandt. CA 131.11 <br /> <br />ASSESSED VALUATION FIGURES A letter dated Septem- <br />REQUEST FROM FOUNTAIN VALLEY her 9, 1977, from Roger <br />FILED R. Stanton, Mayor of <br /> Fountain Valley, trans- <br />mitting a resolution adopted by the City of Fountain Valley <br />opposing the policy of the Orange County Tax Assessor to release <br />assessed valuation figures that are not finalized, was received <br />and filed on the motion of Councilman Ortiz, seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Garthe, and carried 7:0 unanimously. CA 65.1 <br /> <br />DEANNEXATION REQUEST On the motion of Council- <br />EDINGER EAST OF NEWPORT FREEWAY man Ward, seconded by <br />REFERRED TO STAFF Councilman Garthe, and <br /> carried 7:0 unanimously, <br />a letter dated September 23, 1977 from Mutual Liquid Gas and <br />Equipment President, M. A. Moore, 1001 S.E. Edinger Avenue, <br />Tustin, requesting detachment of a parcel of property located <br />on Edinger, east of the Newport Freeway, was referred to Staff <br />for report and recommendation. CA 92 <br /> <br />REMOVAL OF PARKING On the recommendation of <br />S. FAIRVIEW Traffic Engineer, Joe <br />STAFF INSTRUCTED Foust, in his report <br /> dated September 20, 1977, <br />and on the unanimously carried 7:0 motion of Councilman Ward, <br />seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, Staff was directed to proceed <br />with the process of re-striping South Fairview for six lanes <br />and to eliminate the parking on both sides of the street, <br />between Warner and the south City limits. CA 18 <br /> <br />CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE On the unanimously <br />POLICE FACILITY PLANNING carried 7:0 motion of <br />COUNCILMAN BRANDT APPOINTED Councilman Bricken, <br /> seconded by Councilman <br />Ward, Councilman David Brandt was appointed Chairman of the <br />Citizens Advisory Committee for Police Facility Planning. <br /> CA 80.1; CA ?? <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER The Mayor's suggestion <br />LOGAN AREA PROPOSALS to defer the consideration <br />DEFERRED TO LATER IN MEETING of implementation of <br /> the Logan Area Proposals <br />to the end of the afternoon Agenda received unanimous informal <br />consent of the Council. (Minutes Page 359) <br /> <br />LIBRARY BOARD The appointment of Irma <br />IRMA GUTIERREZ APPOINTED Gutierrez to the Library <br />HRC/HAC APPOINTMENT CONTINUED Board for a term ending <br /> June 30, 1978 was con- <br />firmed on the unanimously approved 7:0 motion of Councilman <br />Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ward; and by the same motion <br />the confirmation of the reappointment of Manuel Barron to a term <br />ending June 30, 1981 on the Human Relations Commission/Housing <br />Advisory Commission was continued to the next meeting.
