Stuart Knight, 1678 West Broadway, Anaheim, Attorney at Law, <br />stated that some years ago he had occasion to be involved in <br />a lawsuit in which Dr. Allred was the defendant when he was <br />operating a lucrative clinic in South Los Angeles; that he <br />achieved this high bolume by his alliances with counseling ser- <br />vices; that before any permit is issued, he requested that the <br />City Attorney or the Police Department investigate whether <br />or not Dr. Allred is engaged in any improper activities with <br />pregnancy counseling services; and he stated he would assist <br />the City Council in this matter if requested to do so. Kuhn, 357 <br />BUS SHELTER PROPOSAL La Perle Lane, Costa <br /> Mesa, representing <br /> EKO Protection Services, <br />requested Council to reconsider its action at the afternoon <br />meeting to seek proposals for the building of bus shelters <br />in Santa Ana. Mayor Evans stated that EKO's proposal would <br />be considered along with any others that were received by <br />the City. Expenses for the trip would be charged to the <br />Community Redevelopment Agency, and Councilman Ward suggested <br />that the item be carried on the next Agency Agenda, November 29, <br />for ratification.
