GASOLINE SALES TAX Following consideration <br />ALLOCATION FOR TRANSIT of the resolution of <br />DELEGATE AUTHORIZED the City of Lakewood, <br /> transmitted by letter <br />dated September 14, 1978 from G. C. De Baun, Vice Mayor of <br />Lakewood, advocating the allocation of one quarter cent of <br />State sales tax on gasoline for priority highway and transit <br />needs, Council authorized Councilman Brandt, the City's delegate <br />to the General Assembly of the League of California Cities, to <br />support the proposal if in his judgment, following presentation <br />of arguments, the formula is of benefit to the City, on the <br />motion of Councilman Ortiz, seconded by Councilman Ward, carried <br />6:0 unanimously. The action was recommended in a report dated September 6, <br />1978 prepared by Capt. J. L. Dittman, Police Department. CA l12A <br /> CA 47 <br /> <br />YOUTH EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING Following consideration <br />FUNDING FISCAL YEAR 1978-79 of the report prepared by <br />APPROVED FUNDING ALLOCATIONS Manpower Project Coordina- <br /> tor Keith E.
