NO. 79-13 - ADOPTED <br /> <br />Street and Santa Ana Boulevard. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public <br />hearing for the proposed <br />vacation of a portion of <br />Birch Street between Fifth <br /> <br />The Director of Public Works summarized the information contained in the <br />Planning Department report dated November 29, 1978. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported there were no written co~nunications. <br />There was no response to the Mayor's invitation for speakers for or against <br />the vacation. NS-1470 The Mayor announced that <br />PARKING IN YARD AREAS consideration would be given <br />FIRST READING at this time to proposed <br /> ordinance, No. NS-1470 <br />continued from the afternoon agenda, to specify yard areas which may not <br />be used for off-street parking. <br /> <br />There were no speakers in favor of the ordinance. Speakers in opposition <br />were Hal Salderini, 2313 North Cottonwood Street, and John E. Martin, 2502 <br />Fairmont.
