AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />BRANDT, BRICKEN, EYANS, GARTHE, WARD, YAM~MOTO <br />NONE <br />ORTIZ <br /> <br />CA 16 <br /> <br />The City Manager stated that he had attended a meeting of the Con~mittee <br />on March 29, with representatives of both the mobile home park owners <br />and the coach owners and observers from the Apartment Association of <br />Orange County and the Housing Advisory Con~nittee; that agreement was <br />obtained to avoid government involvement or membership on the Committee. <br />Four statements of the purpose of the Conanittee were developed as guidelines: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />To provide an organization to advise residents and owners to <br />find rm~tually acceptable solutions to problems, and to improve <br />resident and owner conmmnications and cooperation. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The Committee will consist of seven members, three residents <br />of mobile home parks and three owners of mobile home parks. <br />The seventh member will be selected by the unanimous vote of <br />the other six members, that member nmst be a resident of Santa <br />Aha and have no connection with a governmental agency. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />The Committee will establish its own objectives and define the <br />format on which it will operate to further these goals and <br />objectives. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Procedures will be developed by the Con~nittee to provide a <br />means to receive, examine and assist all parties to reach a <br />mutually acceptable solution to their problems.
