<br />" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />M;{NUTES <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />\ . <br />- '" <br /> <br />December 11, 1974 <br /> <br />&. <br />He '~ted further that the report recommends two methods of <br />imme'd'tate financing - through UMTA (Urban Mass Transportation <br />Administration) and FHWA (Federal Highway Administration); that <br />the cost is estimated at 4.2 million dollars, including land; <br />that about 83 percent would be federally funded leaving approxi- <br />mately $891,000 for the Orange County Transit District to con- <br />tribute to the Project. <br /> <br />Chairman Patterson arrived at 4:20 P.M. <br /> <br />Commissioner Yamamoto's motion to receive and adopt the report <br />including the Environmental Impact Report, and the comments by <br />Commissioner Ward, as stated in the next paragraph was seconded <br />by Commissioner Garthe and carried unanimously (6-0). <br /> <br />Prior to the vote on the motion, Commissioner Ward stated that <br />he was concerned with the Environmental Impact Report; that, in <br />his opinion, it would have to be considerably revised when con- <br />struction is desired because it is lacking in that it did not <br />take into consideration an interior road study, land usage and <br />current zoning, and generation of pedestrian traffic. <br /> <br />Donahue and Company, <br />Tustin, was selected <br />as the appraiser for <br />the Senior Citizens <br />Housing site properties, in accordance with the recommendation <br />of the Redevelopment Commission, on the unanimously approved <br />(6-0) motion of Commissioner Griset, seconded by Commissioner <br />Ward. <br /> <br />SENIOR CITIZENS <br />HOUSING SITE <br />APPRAISAL FIRM <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-19 <br />ACCEPTANCE OF DEEDS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-19 <br />AUTHORIZING AN AGENT <br />TO ACCEPT AND CONSENT <br />TO THE RECORDATION OF <br />DEEDS OR GRANTS TO THE SANTA ANA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />was adopted on the unanimously approved (6-0) motion of Com- <br />missioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner Garthe. <br /> <br />The Agency approved <br />the negotiated settle- <br />ment Agreement with <br />John Stanley for the <br />purchase of his property located at the corner of Ross Street <br />and Santa Ana Boulevard, at a price of $42,410 and authorized <br />the Chairman to sign the Agreement, and related documents as <br />necessary, on the unanimously approved (6-0) motion of Commissioner <br />Griset, seconded by Commissioner Evans. <br /> <br />JOHN STANLEY PROPERTY <br />SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />At 4:50 P.M., the Agency <br />recessed for an Executive <br />Session to consider legal <br />matters and reconvened <br />present. <br /> <br />at 5:25 P.M., with the same members <br /> <br />The Agency authorized <br />the purchase of the <br />property located at 514- <br />524 North Main Street <br />(southwest corner of Main Street and Santa Ana Boulevard) from <br />the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles for the negotiated <br />purchase price of $66,000, on the unanimously approved motion (6-0) <br />of Commissioner Griset, seconded by Commissioner Evans. <br /> <br />PROPERTY PURCHASE <br />AUTHORIZED <br /> <br />-2- <br />
