No motion was made in response to the Personnel Department request for hiring <br />freeze exen~ption and authorization to hire one Typist Clerk II (Insurance <br />Division). <br /> CA 5O <br /> <br />ORAL CO~4~JNICATION Mayor Ward reported that a bulletin <br />GASOLINE SHORTAGE had been received from the Governor <br />t~RGENCY MEASURES - APPROVED outlining proposed emergency measures <br /> to alleviate the problems relating to <br />the gasoline shortage. He asked that the City support those measures, and urge <br />the County Board of Supervisors to take immediate action to implement the <br />Governor's proposal.
