<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />December 15, 1975 <br /> <br />The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency was called to order by Chairman John Garthe, at 2:00 <br />P.M., in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. <br />Roll call was as follows: <br /> <br />PRESENT <br /> <br />ABSENT <br /> <br />David L. Brandt <br />Gordon Bricken <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />David F. Ortiz <br />James E. Ward <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br />John Garthe <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Richard E. Goblirsch, Executive Director <br />Susan Shick, Assistant to Executive Director <br />Bruce Spragg, City Manager <br />Keith Gow, City Attorney <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - PROPOSED DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br />FOR SALE OF SANTA ANA TOWERS SITE <br /> <br />Chairman Garthe announced that this was the time and place for <br />the public hearing on the proposed Disposition and Development <br />Agreement for the sale of the Santa Ana Towers site to National <br />Housing Consultants, Inc. The Santa Ana Towers is a proposed <br />200-unit residential development for senior citizens~ <br /> <br />The public hearing was opened by the Mayor and continued to <br />4:00 P.M., to be held in conjunction with the Agency's 4:00 P.M. <br />public hearing on the Environmental Impact Report on the unani- <br />mously approved motion of Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Yamamoto. <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />At 2:02 P.M. the Agency meeting was recessed until 4:00 P.M., <br />on the unanimously approved motion of Mr. Evans, seconded by <br />Mr. Yamamoto. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - SANTA ANA TOWERS ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT <br /> <br />At 4:08 P.M., Chairman Garthe announced that this was the time <br />and place set for the Redevelopment Agency's public hearing on <br />the draft supplemental Environmental Impact Report to the Santa <br />Ana Redevelopment Project Environmental Impact Report for 200 <br />units of senior citizens' housing to be constructed between <br />Ross and Birch, First and Third Streets in the Santa Ana Rede- <br />velopment Project Area under the United States Housing Act of <br />1937 as amended. <br /> <br />The Chairman stated that the draft supplemental Environmental <br />Impact Report had been on file for public inspection in the office <br />of the Redevelopment Agency since November 14,1975. He opened <br />the public hearing and requested a staff presentation. <br />
