<br />I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />BID CALL - LEASE OF AUTOMOBILE <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Ortiz and carried <br />unanimously to authorize the advertisement for bids for the lease <br />of an automobile for a two year period. <br /> <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR PERFORMING ARTS CENTER <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Ward and carried <br />(Mr. Yamamoto voted no) to authorize staff to proceed with the <br />performing Arts Center based on the Redevelopment Commission's <br />recommendation as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Proceed with organizing the support groups for the purpose <br />of immediately raising funds, per the recommendations of the <br />study: <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Redevelopment Agency staff be retained to guide the project: <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Funding be oriented on a County-wide basis and that the <br />funding role of the Redevelopment Agency be secondary to <br />funding obtained elsewhere. <br /> <br />GOLDRICH, KEST ASSOCIATES - SENIOR CITIZENS APARTMENTS <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Garthe and <br />carried unanimously to receive and file the letter from Goldrich, <br />Kest Associates, dated September 29,1977, on the construction of <br />the senior citizens apartments between Ross and Van Ness, First <br />and Third. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND AGENCY <br /> <br />The Executive Director reported that the Agreement between the <br />City and Agency has been prepared in draft form. The <br />Redevelopment Commission has reviewed the draft Agreement and has <br />requested that a study session be held on the draft Agreement by <br />the Agency and the Commission. The Executive Director requested <br />that if a study session were desired by the Agency, that a date <br />be set. Mr. Evans responded that he did not think it was the <br />proper time to discuss this matter and requested that the Agency <br />defer any action on this matter to a later date. <br /> <br />REPORT BY ECONOMIC RESEARCH ASSOCIATES <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR PERFORMING ARTS CENTER <br /> <br />ON <br /> <br />CONCLUSION <br /> <br />OF <br /> <br />Mr. Richard McElyea and Mr. John Dykstra of Economics Research <br />Associates reported their findings on the feasibility study for <br />the performing Arts Center to the Agency. A summary of the <br />report was given to each of the Agency members. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business before the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 6:00 P.M. upon <br />the motion of Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Garthe and carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />~~ ....
