<br />Mr. Yamamoto stated his reason for opposition of the motion at <br />the July 16 meeting was due to lack of information. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Yamamoto, seconded by Mr. Serrato and <br />carried unanimously to grant a six month exclusive right to <br />negotiate to the California Federal Teachers Credit Union. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Luxembourger, seconded by Mr. Griset <br />to negotiate with the Newport Law Center and Lesny Development <br />an exclusive right to negotiate for an alternate site, <br />preferably that bounded by Civic Center, 10th, Flower and <br />Garnsey, immediately north of the proposed Allen Jones <br />development, and report back to this Agency on August 6 with <br />the results of those negotiations. <br /> <br />Mr. Yamamoto spoke in opposition to the motion. He stated that <br />he did not feel two developers should be given exclusive rights <br />to negotiate. Mr. Serrato was in agreement with Mr. Yamamoto's <br />comments.
