<br />e. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED SALE BY THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO FERRANTE/WALDER JOINT VENTURE <br /> <br />Chairman Pro Tern Acosta announced that this was the time and <br />place for the joint public hearing of the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency and the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana for the proposed sale of property by the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana to <br />Ferrante/Walder Joint Venture, bounded on the north by a <br />line 165 feet southerly from Tenth Street, on the west by <br />Flower Street, on the south by Civic Center Drive and on the <br />east by Parton Street. <br /> <br />Chairman Pro Tem Acosta requested that Staff identify the <br />property or issues and give staff recommendation. Mr. <br />Thomas E. Hammill, Assistant Director Redevelopment and Real <br />Estate, reviewed the staff report and presented staff's <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />Chairman Pro Tern Acosta asken if there were any written <br />communications. Jan Guy, Clerk of the Council, responded <br />that the only written communication was from Arthur J. <br />Donahue from Donahue and Katnik. <br /> <br />The Chairman Pro Tern announced that the Agency would now <br />like to hear from those people who desired to address the <br />Agency on this issue. He added that if anyone desired to <br />address the Agency, they should step forward to the podium, <br />give their name and address and limit their comments to five <br />minutes. Chairman Pro Tern Acosta requested to hear from <br />those persons in agreement and disagreement with the <br />proposed sale. There being none, he asked if there were any <br />additional comments from staff, or if the Agency members had <br />any questions. <br /> <br />After a brief discussion with Mr. Markel on what this item <br />was all about, the Chairman Pro Tem closed the public <br />hearing and entertained a motion of the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency regarding the proposed sale. A motion <br />was made by Mr. Bricken, seconded by Mr. Serrato and carried <br />by the following roll call vote to adopt Resolution 82-100: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING A DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AND FERRANTE/WALDER JOINT VENTURE. <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Griset, <br />Luxembourger, McGuigan, Serrato <br />Markel <br />None <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />-2- <br />
