<br />, <br />{ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />/-If. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />AUGUST 24, 1982 <br /> <br />The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment <br />Agencyof the City of Santa Ana was called to order by <br />Chairman Gordon Bricken at 5:32 P.M., in the City Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. <br />Following the Pledge to the Flag, Chairman Bricken called <br />for a moment of silent prayer for peace. The roll was <br />called: <br /> <br />PRESENT <br /> <br />ABSENT <br /> <br />John Acosta <br />Gordon Bricken <br />Robert Luxembourger <br />patricia McGuigan <br />Al Serrato <br /> <br />Daniel Gr iset <br />J. Ogden Markel <br /> <br />Others in attendance: <br /> <br />A. J. Wilson, City Manager <br />Rex Swanson, Ass't. City Manager/Development <br />Richard Lay, Ass't. City Attorney <br />David N. Ream, Community Development Director <br />Mellmary McNeely, Secretary <br />Ed Martin, Esq., Martin & Cottle <br /> <br />Serv ices <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE FROM MR. AND MRS. GREENBERG <br /> <br />The City Manager advised the Agency that, due to the fact <br />that information from Martin & Cottle, attorneys for Mr. and <br />Mrs. Greenberg, had arrived too late to be disseminated to <br />Agency and staff with the Agendas on August 20, 1982, Staff <br />respectfully requested that the Redevelopment Agency <br />continue this matter until September 7, 1982 at 4:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Martin, attorney for the Greenbergs, addressed the <br />Agency and stressed the urgency of his client's condition <br />and invited the Agency members to visit the Grand Central <br />Building as a part of their deliberations. <br /> <br />After further discussions, it was moved by Mr. Luxembourger, <br />seconded by Mrs. McGuigan and carried unanimously (5:0) that <br />the Agency's consideration of the request for assistance <br />from Mr. and Mrs. Greenberg be continued until the Agency <br />meeting of September 7, 1982 at 4:00 P.M. <br />
