<br />. <br /> <br />maximum rental fees and charges to be collected by the <br />operator for lease of property for public parking purposes <br />located on the south side of Fifth Street between Bush <br />Street and Spurgeon Street. <br /> <br />Chairman Bricken requested that Staff identify the property <br />or issues and give staff recommendation. Mr. Thomas E. <br />Hammill, Real Estate Officer, reported that the property is <br />located on the south side of Fifth Street between Bush and <br />Spurgeon Streets. The purpose of the public hearing is to <br />set the maximum rates which were set out in the Lease <br />Agreement; namely $.50 each half hour; $1.50 per day, and <br />$25.00 a month. <br /> <br />The Chairman announced that the Agency would now like to <br />hear from those people who desired to address the Agency on <br />this issue. He added that if anyone desired to address the <br />Agency, they should step forward to the podium, give their <br />name and address and limit their comments to five minutes. <br />Chairman Bricken requested to hear from those persons in <br />agreement and disagreement with the proposed Lease. There <br />being none, he asked if there were any additional comments <br />from staff, or if Agency members had any questions. There <br />were none. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Chairman Bricken closed the public hearing and entertained a <br />motion regarding the proposed Lease. A motion was made by <br />Mr. Luxembourger, seconded by Mr. Griset and carried <br />unanimously to adopt Resolution 82-11. A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT <br />FOR A PARKING LOT LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF FIFTH STREET <br />BETWEEN BUSH AND SPURGEON STREETS. <br /> <br />RULES GOVERNING PARTICIPATION <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS <br /> <br />BY <br /> <br />OWNERS <br /> <br />IN PROPOSED NEW <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Griset, seconded by Mr. <br />Luxembourger and carried by a 4:1 vote (Mr. Serrato casting <br />the "NO" vote) to adopt Resolution 82-18: A RESOLUTION OF <br />THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ADOPTING RULES GOVERNING PARTICIPATION BY AND PREFERENCE TO <br />OWNERS, OPERATORS OF BUSINESSES, AND TENANTS FOR NEW <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mrs. McGuigan, seconded by Mr. <br />Luxembourger and carried unanimously to receive and file the <br />Metropolitan Water District Resolutions. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
