A <br />motion was made by Councilmember Young, seconded by <br />Councilmember Bricken and carried by the following roll call <br />vote to adopt Resolution NO. 84-18: A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA MAKING CERTAIN <br />FINDINGS WITH RESPECT TO THE CONSIDERATION TO BE RECEIVED BY <br />THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />PURSUANT TO A DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AND CM PLAZA FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE <br />SANTA ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND APPROVING THE SALE OF <br />SAID REAL PROPERTY UPON THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED <br />IN THAT AGREEMENT. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Johnson, Luxembourger, Young <br />None <br />Griset, MCGuigan <br /> <br />JOINT PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE C-6 SITE AND THE GRANTING OF AN EASEMENT <br />TO HALFERTY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY <br /> <br />Chairman Luxembourger announced that this was the time and <br />place for the Joint Public Hearing of the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency and the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana for the proposed sale of property known as the C-6 <br />site by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Santa Ana to Halferty Development Company. The site is <br />bounded on the north by OWens Drive, on the west by Arnett <br />Drive, on the south by santiago Creek, and on, the east by <br />the Broadway OVerpass. <br /> <br />Chairman <br />property <br />principal <br />a map on <br />easement <br />parking. <br /> <br />Luxembourger requested that staff identify the <br />or issues and give staff recommendation. The Project Manager stated <br />that in April of this year the Redevelopment Agency granted <br />Halferty Development Company an exclusive right to negotiate <br />for a three-story, 44,000 square foot office building. The <br />estimated development value is $5.1 million. The sales <br />price was determined at $11.60 per square foot. Additional <br />area will be conveyed to the developer for parking purposes <br />in the form of an easement. The site is presently vacant, <br />which will permit a start of construction by January 1, <br />1985. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
