<br />. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Chairman Luxembourger requested that staff identify the <br />property or issues and give staff recommendation. The <br />Principal Real Estate Officer identified the property using <br />a map on display in the COuncil Chambers and stated that <br />this property is presently vacant and is owned in fee by the <br />Redevelopment Agency. <br /> <br />The Executive <br />James Meehan <br />presentation. <br /> <br />Director/Economic Development introduced Mr. <br />of CM Plaza who gave a brief slide <br /> <br />Chairman Luxembourger announced that the Agency would now <br />like to hear from those people who desire to address the <br />Agency on this issue. He added that if anyone desires to <br />address the Agency, they should step forward to the podium, <br />give their name and address and limit their comments to five <br />minutes. Chairman Luxembourger requested to hear from those <br />persons in agreement and disagreement with the proposed <br />sale. <br /> <br />Mr. RObert Richards, 1920 N. Sherry Lane, #7, Santa Ana, <br />California, addressed the Agency by stating that he was very <br />pleased with the project and that Mr. Meehan has been very <br />cooperative. <br /> <br />Mr. Scott Morgan, 1521 Raitt Street, Santa Ana, California, <br />addressed the Agency by stating his concerns on the design <br />of the building. <br /> <br />Chairman Luxembourger <br />comments from staff, <br />questions. <br /> <br />asked if there were any additional <br />or if the Agency members had any <br /> <br />In response to several questions raised by Mr. Bricken, Mr. <br />Morgan responded that Mr. Meehan had described his existing <br />proposal quite well and that a softer material was more <br />crucial on the lower levels than the upper levels. <br /> <br />In response to several questions raised by Mr. Bricken, the <br />Executive Director responded that each level of drawings on <br />this project would be reviewed, and suggested that a couple <br />of bench marks be placed as the construction drawings are <br />completed; if the Agency desires this level of involvement. <br /> <br />Chairman Luxembourger declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mr. Young, seconded by Mr. Bricken and <br />carried by the following roll call vote to adopt Resolution <br />No. 84-1: A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AN AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND CM PLAZA, with the provision that <br />staff work close with the various organizations and tenants <br />to get their input on the material to be used on the <br />project. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
