<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />Grant a 90-day exclusive right to negotiate to <br />Lowy Development Corporation for the development <br />of an office building on the C-5 site subject to <br />design and use modifications; and <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Grant a 90-day exclusive right to negotiate to <br />Halferty Development Company for the development <br />of an office building on the C-6 site. <br /> <br />DEVELOPER SELECTION FOR THE A-13 SITE (SOUTHWEST CORNER OF <br />FLOWER AND SANTA ANA BOULEVARD <br /> <br />The Executive Director stated that the developer was present <br />to answer any questions Agency members might have. <br /> <br />In response to a question raised by Mrs. McGuigan, the <br />Community Development Director responded that there were <br />currently nineteen (19) residences of which five (5) are <br />vacant on the A-13 site. <br /> <br />The Community Development Director stated that this proposal <br />was taken to the neighborhood. At today's Commission <br />meeting a number of people did ask that this item be <br />continued for thirty (30) days. <br /> <br />In response to a question raised by Mr. Johnson, the <br />Community Development Director responded that the tenants <br />were going to be relocated. <br /> <br />After a brief discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Young, <br />seconded by Mrs. McGuigan and carried unanimously to grant a <br />90-day exclusive right to negotiate to Lowy Development <br />Corporation for development of the A-13 site. <br /> <br />EXECUTION OF DIRECT LOAN AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />In response to a question raised by Mrs. McGuigan, the <br />Community Development Director responded that five par- <br />ticipants had loan agreements in this program since it <br />started. <br /> <br />After a brief discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Acosta, <br />seconded by Vice Chairman Griset and carried unanimously to <br />adopt Resolution No. 84-9: A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND <br />THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO EXECUTE LOAN <br />AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE AGENCY PURSUANT TO THE DIRECT <br />COMMERCIAL LOAN PROGRAM. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
