Colorado Blvd. <br />Pasadena, CA. 91101 <br /> <br />The Chairman then stated that the Agency would like to hear from <br />those people who desired to address the Agency on the issue. He <br />added that, if someone desired to address the Agency, they were to <br />step forward to the podium and give their name and address and to <br />limit their comments to five minutes and identify to which property <br />their comments pertained. He stated further: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Please keep in mind the requirements of Section 1245.235 of <br />the Code of Civil procedure that your comments should only <br />address the following four issues: <br /> <br />Whether the public interest and necessity require the project: <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Whether the project is planned or located in the manner that <br />will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the <br />least private injury: <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Whether the properties sought to be acquired are necessary for <br />the project: or <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Whether an offer, as required by Section 7267.2 <br />Government Code, has been made to the record owner. <br /> <br />of the <br /> <br />Chairman Griset then asked if there were those who wished to speak <br />in opposition to the proposed action. <br /> <br />Ms. Kathy Les of Heritage orange County addressed the Agency and <br />stated that Heritage Orange County opposed any further demolition <br />in the Downtown Historic Area. She added that they understood the <br />importance of the proposed development but that their position was <br />still to oppose further demolition of historical properties. <br /> <br />Chairman Griset then declared the Public Hearing closed and asked <br />if Agency Members had further questions of staff. <br /> <br />4. <br />
